Sustainability Innovation Awards 1.0 focused on 'Recognizing Excellence in Sustainable Development and “Go-Green” Practices.' Sustainability Innovation Awards 1.0 celebrated the success of everyone playing a vital role in turning the dream of a sustainable, greener planet into reality. The award categories reflect the main sectors of the society.

Sustainability Innovation Awards 1.0 was organized by Rootskills, Green Society of India (GIS) and Rootsaps. The academic partner for SIA 1.0 was International Internship University (IIU) while the Digital Partner was Roots2Fame.

The Agenda of SIA 1.0 2021 Global Edition was "Boosting Sustainable Development & Increasing Awareness of Eco-friendly Products/ Services among all Age Groups."

Sustainability Innovation Awards 1.0 was conducted on 27th October 2021 virtually 5pm onwards on various Social Media Platforms. This was a global edition for the year 2021.
